A well-designed infrastructure of the department includes well-equipped haematology lab, amphibian lab, mammalian & clinical lab, research lab, demonstration room and other facilities.

The subject deals with normal functions of all organ systems. The students are trained to, understand the basic principles, mechanism and homeostatic control of all the functions of human body, physiological aspect of normal growth, analyze physiological responses, explain patho-physiology of different diseases etc. 

Students are involved in various innovative teaching methods like Physiology Quiz, Students seminar, Panel Discussions etc.
