The department reflects the enormous advancement and growth, going on in the field of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy. The Department provides comprehensive care for skin diseases, which includes Eczemas, Dermatitis, Psoriasis, Acne, Malasma, Leucoderma, Lichen planus and other bacterial, fungal, viral and parasitic skin infections. 

Phototherapy for the treatment of Vitiligo and Psoriasis is also available. In collaboration with department of community medicine, Public awareness programmes on STD, leprosy and HIV are conducted regularly.
