The subject of Anatomy introduces students to the study of structure and internal architecture of tissues and organs of the human body and forms the basis for the study of Medical Science.

The college provides an excellent infrastructure of the department to enable students gain in depth knowledge of various parts of human body. The Dissection Theatre, expansive, well lit and well ventilated can accommodate as many as 100 students at a time.

The Museum is an extensive collection of models of different organs of the body in both structural as well as functional forms, thus aiding in the study of human body.

The department of Anatomy also houses the office of SNMC Body Donation Society. This is voluntary whole body donation society, to which people from near by districts tender the application forms by pledging their whole body to be taken by the college after their death.
